| Throughout the continuum of the Multiverse there was connectivity, with each individual universe obeying its own governing laws of physics set in place at the time of its creation. But there was something even vaster than the Multiverse, with all of its interconnecting universes, that being the dark region that surrounded the Multiverse. It was there that the umbilical cords that connected the individual universes together called Genesis Points, lay. Little was known of this region of darkness by those beings of the Multiverse. Few had discovered the location of the Genesis Points or back doors that lie through such darkness. It was rare for beings that vibrated in the frequency of solid matter to have ever ventured through the Genesis Points, but there were no laws that governed such an occurrence. In an insignificant node of the Multiverse, spiraling around an outer arm of a rather common galaxy, a yellow dwarf star continued along its way consuming vast amounts of its hydrogen to warm its companion planets. One of these planets was a colorful jewel of a world with large blue green oceans and a nitrogen rich blue sky. Across this water world, a sprinkling of land could be seen rising bravely out of the ocean depths. It was on one of these oases drifting in the blue sea, that a race of once space faring beings calling themselves humankind, sought refuge. Once again they climbed back to the stars. The planet had two natural moons, and for a while, a small artificial one that was ellipsoid in shape. Unlike the other moons it's mirrored surface reflected light efficiently back into space, except for a small amount that it absorbed as food. Excerpt From Genesis Point, James Abbey |
